Arrangements have now been finalised to hold the Wandsworth LGBT Forum Annual General Meeting on Thursday 04th December 2008 in The Terrace Room, Grove House, Frobel College, Roehampton University.


The Meeting will commence at 7.30 pm. Agenda for the Event will be sent by email on request. 

As you are aware, at this Meeting all current Officers and Committee Members stand-down and a new Committee is elected to serve for the next year. Current Officers and Committee Members are able to stand for re-election.

We look forward to meeting you at the Annual General Meeting on 04th December 2008.

    We need input from all LGBT people living within the Borough, for future social events, e.g. February 2009 - National LGBT History Month; ideas for local fetes/festivals next year.

THINGS TO REMEMBER IF YOU ARE GOING TO A CRUISING GROUND.

* Don't take lots of cash or valuables with you.
 
*If you do happen to be carrying something expensive, such as your mobile phone or watch, don't make it known to people.
 
*Avoid going if you're drunk or or have taken drugs, as you are less likely to be aware of the potential dangers around you.
 
* Make sure you know the layout of the area, and avoid dead ends so you can exit quickly when in danger.
* Talk to other men and see if there have been any attacks, so you can steer clear of particular cruising grounds.
* Don't listen to personal stereos or i-pods when you're cruising so you have all your senses about you.
* If you're looking to have anal sex, always carry plenty of condoms and lube, just to be safe.

* If you're attacked always shout for help - you may want to carry a personal alarm with you.
* PLEASE REPORT ANY INCIDENTS OF CRIME TO THE POLICE - IF THEY DON'T KNOW ABOUT IT, THEY WON'T BE ABLE TO HELP.
